******* Update For Dental Patients 03/11/20 ******
We would like to reassure patients that the dental practice will remain open during normal working hours for the lock down period due to start on Thursday 05/11/20.
Following guidance from the NHS England Chief Dental Officer, we will continue to triage patients by phone initially, and then those requiring a face-to-face appointment will be invited to attend in person.
If you have a dental emergency, have concerns about a problem in your mouth or would like some oral health or hygiene advice please do not hesitate to contact us and speak to one of the clinical triage team on 01663 736 301.
We politely ask that you not attempt to attend the practice in person unless you have a pre-arranged appointment, as we can only permit those who have been pre-triaged and risk assessed inside.
The Chief Dental Officer for England has advised us that the ‘Priority remains focussed on patients who require access to urgent care, patients at higher risk of oral disease, and patients with outstanding treatment needs that cannot be delayed’.
We regret that due to changes in Standard Operating Procedures and Infection Control Guidelines many of your routine dental examinations may be subject to delay during the height of the Covid-19 Pandemic while we address the needs of patients requiring emergency and urgent dental care.
We also regret that some cosmetic dental treatments may also be subject to these delays while the Covid-19 infection rate is high.
Please be assured that we have your upmost safety and that of our staff as our priority and the dental team is working tirelessly during these unprecedented times to help its patients stay dentally fit and healthy and free of pain.
We will be operating an Emergency Telephone Consultation service for our patients who have acute pain or facial swelling. If you urgently need assistance, please telephone us on 01663 736 301. Please telephone first thing in the morning to secure a telephone consultation should you require one.
We apologise if you are waiting for routine treatment, please rest assured that as soon as it is safe to do so we will continue to provide you with this care. In the meantime you are welcome to call us with a view to any Oral health Advice you require.

Appointments: Telephone us on 01663 736 301
WE NEED YOU TO ATTEND – any person who does not attend their first appointment will be considered not to be interested in receiving care and will not have another appointment made. Equally any regular patient who misses two appointments or fails to have their necessary and agreed care carried out within 6 months will be deemed uninterested in receiving care at the practice and will not have any more appointments made. This is necessary to offer as much time as possible to those who are prepared to invest the time and effort into their health.
The best way to contact us is by phone – reception in the practice is reserved for the patients we are treating that day and as such is too busy to cope with ad hoc requests – please be patient or leave a message – we will get back to you as soon as possible.
